The Role

We are looking for a Midweight to Senior Designer with a strong FMCG and brand background to join our team.

This is a hybrid role that sits between brand identity and packaging. You will create brands where packaging is a key touchpoint, but you will also be responsible for how that brand shows up across digital, print, and campaign.

You will link all this up with packaging, from early concept and brand world development through to production ready design, working alongside our specialists and suppliers for the more technical elements.

You will work closely with the rest of the team, including strategy, motion, and digital, to bring ideas to life with strong visual thinking and craft.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing brand concepts from initial idea through to full visual identity.

  • Creating and executing design work for FMCG brands in categories such as beauty, haircare, desserts, drinks, nutrition, matcha, and other consumer goods.

  • Designing packaging as part of a wider brand world, including front of pack, back of pack, ranges and variants, and visual systems that work on shelf and in e-commerce.

  • Collaborate with strategy and account teams to understand client needs and contribute creative ideas.

  • Ensure all work aligns with client brand guidelines and meets our high creative standards.

  • Present ideas and rationale confidently to internal teams and clients.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, bringing fresh inspiration into your work.

  • Rolling out brands across key touchpoints, including social content, presentations, websites, and print.

  • Presenting work to the internal team and to clients, explaining your thinking clearly and confidently.

  • At the senior end of the band, leading projects, owning client communication on the creative side, and helping to mentor more junior designers.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years experience in branding and packaging in a studio or freelance. This is a must have.

  • A portfolio that shows strong conceptual thinking, visual craft, and a clear eye for hierarchy, layout, and typography.

  • Must show strong brand and packaging or FMCG examples in your portfolio, ideally across categories such as beauty, haircare, food, drink, nutrition or similar consumer products.

  • Experience creating brands that include packaging as a core part of the project, not as an afterthought.

  • Comfort working on packaging from idea to final design, including an understanding of print, materials, finishes, and how a design will work in real life, even if you are not the one building every technical file.

  • Confidence in presenting your work and explaining decisions to both internal team members and clients.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with Figma is needed

  • Any motion or 3D experience would be a plus, but not essential.

  • A collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in helping build brands that sit in the real world, not just on a deck.

  • An interest in exploring AI tools to enhance creativity.

  • Applications without a clear, relevant portfolio link will not be reviewed.

  • UK-based applicants only (must have the right to work in the UK).

  • Open to attending team meetups every two months.

Your Vibe:

  • You believe in the power of creativity to make the world a better place.

  • You’re proactive, enthusiastic, and always looking to improve.

  • You stay curious about design trends and new creative approaches.

  • You enjoy working collaboratively but can also own projects independently.

  • You want to be part of a team that values innovation and purpose-driven design.

If you're a passionate creative who wants to use their powers for good and you're excited about the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects with a talented team, then we could be the perfect fit .
